RezExchange

RezExchange provides onward connectivity to a variety of buy-side channels. This allows IDPMS users to manage the connected sales channels straight from the PMS. Rates, rate restrictions and availability are uploaded and reservations created by these channels are downloaded and created automatically in the PMS or CRS.

Having your sales channels connected to the PMS has many benefits:

• Single Image inventory: probably the most important thing RezExchange has to offer. Because RezExchange has a connection with your PMS and is constantly made aware of changes to your availability, we can make sure that we automatically close rates when the hotel is fully booked. This means you can keep rates open longer, without the risk of overbooking your property. It increases your exposure and ultimately increases the number of bookings.
• Through RezExchange it is also possible to indicate that you want certain rates to close when your property has reached a certain occupancy level. This allows you to increase your rates automatically based on the hotels’ occupancy.
• No need to log in to the extranets of the various websites, because you can manage the rates and availability straight from the PMS you use every day already. This means that more staff members, depending on user rights, can manage your channels and you are no longer dependent on the one person who has mastered the complexity of channel management.
• RezExchange has no extranet, so there is nothing new to learn, other than how to maintain rates and inventory in the PMS.
• All interfaces are two-way. This means reservations created by the various channels are entered into the PMS automatically. If you wish, we can notify the property by e-mail that a new reservation has been entered. Some hotels like that option, so they can verify the reservation, others prefer not to be notified. Besides times savings – your staff doesn’t have to enter the reservations manually – there is also a lowered risk of input errors. Lastly, this also means your availability is always accurate as there is no back log of reservations that still need to be entered.
