For Hotels with Meeting Space, IDPMS provides a fully integrated module for the complete management of the meeting process. Each property customizes the setup of their meeting rooms, including combinations, detailed configuration options, multiple daily rates and products and services. IDPMS allows detailed charge plans to produce the appropriate charges to be billed and the revenue to be directed to the appropriate department.

Banqueting Rack

With meetings and events, having one calendar from which everyone works, eliminates confusion when selecting dates. With the ability to book meetings as definite or added to the waiting list, your staff will know exactly which rooms are available for rent by going to the Banqueting Rack, which is the meetings calendar accessible to everyone at your property. Users can view the calendar in daily or weekly mode. Shortcuts from the Banqueting Rack make it easy for adjustments to individual activities or to navigate by direct link to the full planning tab.

Planning and Setup

With all the meeting details under one tab, your staff will have more time to devote to their clients. An event can be a one-time function or can be spread over a date range as a master activity. Master activities can be copied and modified as needed. If a group is returning and wants the same meeting at a
future date, the entire event can be copied. If your client has not confirmed, place it on the waiting list. When an event is definite, individual contacts can be assigned for management of the event and even an accounting contact for final billing. No double entry required when setting up a meeting that also involves group rooms.
